    Seriously. Don't. Just ...don't.
So as I walked into the 7-11 this morning for an in-a-time-pinch breakfast I was thinking to myself, "Man, I hate myself for going to 7-11 for breakfast." But more importantly I was also thinking, "Give 'em another chance. QT is 3 miles out of your way this morning." Side note: I get QT breakfasts every once in a while and they're not so bad as far as on-the-go breakfasts go, but I also remembered 7-11 as being kind of "hilariously behind the times' in a lot of ways, so I was skeptical but interestingly still willing to give them another go. Then I put the toppings on my breakfast which made the cardboard box it was all in wet and soggy. And kind of droopy. By then I was thinking, "Good ******* grief, 7-11, the 1980s called and they want their food packaging back." But, I had already put it in the box so I went ahead and paid for it which I thought was only fair, but truth be told, with my then having to hold the box in one hand while driving the entire rest of the way to work because you can't set a soggy box of food down in your car unless you'd like to be professionally cleaning your seats immediately, I'd say they should have paid me. Do you know though what really convinced me to aspire to the level of writing a 450 word review on a gas station? When I got to work and saw how much the cardboard had soaked into the food, I was just like, ummmmm nah. Nope, nope, nope. I threw it away. I had to, it was gross. Ok, grosser than gas station breakfasts are loosely expected to be. Ok? And I am not a picky eater by any stretch by the way, so that should tell you something. I mean c'mon, I'm writing a review about a 7-11 breakfast. How classy can I be?
All of this has nothing to do with the staff by the way. They were fine. They were nice. It's the company that's the problem here. You can't even call 7-11 "the Wal-Mart of gas stations," because at least when you go to Wal-Mart, you know you're gonna find what you need even if you're so fat you need the assistance of technology to go shopping for Oops All Crunchberries because the store's huge too and they have almost literally everything. 7-11's just an old store with old tech trying desperately to hold on in a modern world. Anyway, I digress. I'm gonna take this as a positive experience personally. Really, I am, because on the upside, it only cost me $4 and an empty stomach to learn a moderately valuable lesson: "Next time, drive the 3 miles out of the way, smart guy." ;)

Not so friendly staff. Mostly middle eastern jerks who can't ever seem to understand my requests and seem so angry that their having to be at work. Out of stock almost ALWAYS on Marlboro's and sleep or energy supplements, high prices and lack of original flavors of slurpiees. The one across the street isn't all that swell either. Check my review on that one for a more detailed review.
